About Crownfall: Idle Kingdom
Crownfall: Idle Kingdom is an original idle kingdom builder made for the browser. You inherit the ruins of a border keep: chop timber by hand, raise a lumber camp, quarry stone, strike gold at the mint and train troops, then push outward to retake the territories the Black Flag Legion took from you.
Four resources drive a single loop. Wood and stone build, gold buys workers, and troops are both consumed and required: a conquest costs a fixed share of the men you send, and the next region states a higher requirement than the last. Because the requirement is checked before anything is spent, a failed attempt leaves your army exactly as it was rather than silently destroying it.
Production is a stated formula rather than a hidden multiplier. Each building produces baseRate times level times 1.12 to the power of level minus one; each worker adds a flat rate; conquered regions add a permanent fifteen to thirty percent, and the Sovereign Authority perk adds twenty percent per tier. Every rate on the resource bar is the total of those parts.
When the four territories are retaken you can assault the Black Flag Bastion, which needs two thousand troops and costs half of them. Winning awards renown, and renown buys permanent perks that survive a prestige: a starting supply cart, a global yield bonus, a larger troop ceiling, a longer offline cap, and cheaper conquests.
Key Features & Highlights
Each region needs more troops than the last and requires the previous one first. A failed attempt spends nothing, so an army is never destroyed by a misclick.
Lumber Camp, Stone Quarry, Royal Mint, Royal Barracks, Central Granary and the Castle Keep, each with a stated price curve and production formula.
Four worker types add a flat rate to their building, with a gold price that grows on every hire. They ran while the tab was closed.
Win the map, then reset your buildings and war for renown, which buys five permanent perks including a longer offline cap.
Return after any length of time for a steward's report that separates what you gained from what overflowed a full store.
Chopping timber is free, endless and always available, so even a wiped-out kingdom has a legal next move. A damaged save is backed up and reported, never deleted.
How to Play - Rules & Objectives
- 1Press Chop Timber until you can buy the first Lumber Camp. It is free and never runs out, so this is always the way back in.
- 2Upgrade the Lumber Camp to raise your wood per second, then add a Stone Quarry once you have the wood to spare.
- 3Buy the Royal Mint to earn gold, then hire workers: each one adds a flat rate to its building and pays for itself over time.
- 4Train troops at the Royal Barracks and open the Expeditions tab. Send them to the Verdant Outpost first; each region needs more troops than the one before.
- 5Take all four territories before assaulting the Black Flag Bastion, which needs two thousand troops and costs half of them.
- 6After a victory, open Royal Renown and either buy a permanent perk or prestige to restart with everything you have bought.
Pro Tips & High-Score Strategies
- Raise the Castle Keep early. Its level is the ceiling for every other building, so a stalled keep stalls the whole kingdom.
- Granary levels raise the storage cap for wood, stone and gold, which is what stops offline gains from overflowing.
- Check the Expedition card before committing: it states the losses. Sending exactly the minimum leaves you with no army for the next region.
- The offline cap perk is worth buying before a long break, because the report will not settle more than eight hours by default.
