Emberlight EmporiumJoyArc Original
Gather, smelt, forge and shelve: a deterministic queue of customers walks up to your counter and buys what is actually on the shelf.
The interface supports English and Simplified Chinese with an in-game toggle, and also follows the switcher on the game page. No installation is required; the save lives in this browser.
Gold, stock, craft levels and settings are stored in this browser only. There is no account and no cloud sync. Offline time settles for at most 8 hours per return.

About Emberlight Emporium
Emberlight Emporium is an original idle crafting-and-trading game built for the browser. You run a waystation shop on the edge of the Ashwater Marches: forage twigs, reed and flax, quarry stone, dig ore and rake coal, then smelt iron and brass, forge knives and buckles, weave baskets and cloth, and finally stock what you made on four shelves for a queue of customers.
The simulation is deliberately deterministic. Customers do not roll dice: the sequence of who walks up to the counter is a pure function of the save seed and the customer index, so the customer who appears after eight hours away is the one who would have appeared after eight hours of live play. That is what makes the offline report match live numbers instead of approximating them.
Every figure explains itself. Each craft row shows its real seconds, its real inputs and its real output; each sale shows the customer, the good and the coin pop on the shop floor. Pricing per shelf is a real decision: Discount lowers the price and raises the chance a customer takes it, Fair is the baseline, Premium raises the price and drops the chance.
Progression runs through six crafts and a six-step Ledger of milestones from 10 gold to 1,000,000 gold, with three societies whose standing changes customer pace, sale price and metal work speed. Hired Hands only start once Trading reaches level 4, and they run your ordinary recipes from the same stock while you are away.
Key Features & Highlights
Who buys next is computed from the seed and the customer index, not rolled at random, so an eight-hour offline settlement matches eight hours of live play.
Six raw goods, five intermediates and six finished goods, each with its own recipe time, inputs and output. Nothing is a placeholder recipe.
Each slot holds one good and has its own Discount, Fair or Premium policy, changing both the sale price and whether the customer takes it.
Hands run the same recipes at the same speed while you are away, draw a wage every second, and stop rather than going negative when the purse runs dry.
Return after any length of time and the report tells you what sold, what earned and what stopped. The cap is eight hours and the game says so in the interface.
Kindling can always be gathered for free, so a shop with no gold and no stock still has a way forward. A damaged save is reported and kept, never silently deleted.
How to Play - Rules & Objectives
- 1Press Gather kindling. It is free and it never runs out, so this is always the way back into the loop.
- 2Open the Workshop tabs and start a recipe. Bind Firewood under Woodwork turns four twigs into one bundle and is the first thing worth selling.
- 3Pick the finished good in the Storeroom and press Shelve selected, then let the customer at the counter buy it. Gold and Trading experience arrive together.
- 4Spend gold on the Workbench to open more crafts, on Shelves to raise each slot's capacity, on the Hearth for speed, and on the Forge at Trading 10 to open Smelting and Forging.
- 5At Trading level 4, hire Hands. They keep producing while the tab is closed, and up to eight hours of that is settled the next time you open the game.
- 6Claim Ledger steps as lifetime gold passes each threshold. The six entries run from 10 to 1,000,000 gold and pay back reputation, experience and materials.
Pro Tips & High-Score Strategies
- Keep at least one cheap good on a Discount shelf. A customer who cannot afford anything on the counter walks away and takes the visit with them.
- Premium pricing earns more per sale but fewer buyers accept it, so use it on goods only one visiting trade actually wants.
- Hands are only worth their wage once a recipe they can run is faster than the customer interval. Check the wage line before hiring a second hand.
- The Ledger's permanent sale-price bonus compounds with society standing, so claiming an early step is worth more than it looks.
