About Doodle Dog
Doodle Dog is the drawing challenge in JoyArc Quick Play. Before the bees are released, draw one or more strokes using a limited ink supply. The lines remain anchored where you draw them; neither the protective wall nor the dog is a falling physics object.
Press Release bees to begin a six-second defense. Bees steer toward the stationary dog and collide with the actual ink segments. A single bee reaching the dog's collision area ends the attempt; a win is six seconds of survival, not an automatic reward for drawing a closed shape.
Later challenge numbers introduce up to three hives, moving hive positions, more bees and less ink, with limits on those difficulty changes. This is not a six-level campaign: six refers to the survival duration. The shared player can advance through numbered challenges, with its challenge counter capped at 10,000.
The shared Quick Play interface defaults to English and can switch to Chinese without resetting the live attempt. Browser-local progress records completed challenge numbers and the next challenge, plus the language preference. It does not restore an unfinished drawing or defense after a reload and does not cloud-sync across browsers or devices.
Key Features & Highlights
Your wall stays where it was drawn. Multiple strokes are allowed within the available ink budget.
Bees physically collide with line segments and test contact with the dog. Surviving the timer is the only victory condition.
Later challenges vary hive count and position, bee count and speed, and ink allowance within programmed limits.
Restart redraws the current challenge; English and Chinese labels can be switched in the shared player. Completed progress is saved locally, not the active attempt.
How to Play - Rules & Objectives
- 1Select Doodle Dog in the Quick Play tabs. Opening this game's link selects the Dog tab directly.
- 2Drag with a mouse or touch pointer to draw around the dog. Start away from the dog and hives, and keep the strokes inside the drawing area.
- 3Finish a stroke by releasing the pointer. You can add another stroke while ink remains; drawing alone does not start the defense.
- 4Press Release bees, or Space while the canvas or page body has focus, to start the six-second survival timer.
- 5Watch whether bees reach the dog through a gap. After a loss, retry and redraw; after a win, choose the next challenge or replay the current one.
Pro Tips & High-Score Strategies
- A compact loop around the dog is a useful first plan, but leave enough clearance to start drawing outside the dog's protected starting area.
- Spend ink on closing gaps rather than ornamental strokes. Nearby endpoints can snap closed only when the small closing segment fits the remaining ink.
- Review all hive directions before releasing bees, especially after the first challenge. A barrier that blocks one approach may leave another exposed.
- Use pause for a brief interruption. Reloading or selecting another Quick Play tab discards the current wall and defense state even though completed challenges remain locally saved.
